“Psychosocial Predictors of Distress among Cancer Patients in South India”
The purpose of this study was to understand the level of distress, predictors of distress, and how to address the distress, given limited resources and high volumes of patients treated at the Cancer Institute. Data abstracted from clinical records of 1,187 adults who were patients from 2016 to 2017 were analyzed. An abstract for an oral presentation at an international conference has been submitted and we are planning to write our results and submit for publication.
